Chocolate and Peanut Granola

Chocolate and Peanut Granola blends crunchy oats, roasted peanuts, and rich chocolate chips for a sweet and satisfying snack. Perfect for breakfast or on-the-go, it offers a delicious balance of nutty and chocolaty flavors.

Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cup best quality cocoa
  2. 4 1/2 cups rolled oats
  3. 1 cup sunflower seeds
  4. 3/4 cup white sesame seeds
  5. 3/4 cup apple compote or applesauce
  6. 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  7. 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  8. 1/3 cup brown rice syrup or rice malt syrup
  9. 1/4 cup clover honey or other runny honey
  10. 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  11. 2 cups raw peanuts
  12. 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  13. 2 tablespoons canola oil or sunflower oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 310 degrees F.
  2. Mix everything together very well in a large mixing bowl. Spread the mixture evenly in 2 baking tins and bake for 40 minutes to 1 hour, turning over half-way through baking. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
