Tomato Macaroni Soup
A cozy, kid-friendly soup made with elbow macaroni in a tomato-based broth. Great with crackers or grilled cheese on the side.
Ingredients
- 1 cup macaroni
- 3 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons margarine salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
Directions
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
- In a large saucepan combine cooked macaroni, milk, margarine and salt and pepper. Then stir in tomatoes. Cook over medium heat until quite hot.
