Weeknight Lasagne Toss

All the flavors of lasagna—ground meat, tomato sauce, cheese—tossed with pasta in a skillet for a fast, weeknight-friendly version of the Italian favorite.

Ingredients

  1. 3/4 pound lean ground beef
  2. 2 green peppers, chopped
  3. 3 cloves garlic, minced
  4. 1 (700 ml) jar pasta sauce 1 2/3 cups water
  5. 1/4 cup kraft zesty italian dressing
  6. 12 oven-ready lasagna noodles, broken into quarters
  7. 1 cup kraft 4 cheese italiano shredded cheese

Directions

  1. Brown meat in large saucepan; drain.
  2. Add peppers, garlic, pasta sauce, water and dressing; bring to boil. Stir in noodles; cover.
  3. Cook on medium-low heat 10 to 15 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with cheese; cover. Let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
